The epitome of Clock Day.

I can't find a single thing wrong with this flash which is difficult to say, especially on Clock Day. The animation style and techniques you used are superb, not comparable to anyone else I've seen on this site. I also love the effect you used where the man's shorts' color moves with the background, I'd seen that done on television before but never in flash, so I applaud you for that. The song was also rockin', fit extremely well in the flash. I'll probably be giving these Culture Beat guys a look after this.

There may have been a message in this flash, I'm not sure, if there was one it probably flew over my head. The thing that I liked most about this was how it was showing distinction between the man and Strawberry's world. Clock Day always seems like another world to me, so I was slightly able to relate to the flash. While it didn't have the humor associated with Clock Day, you definitely came through with great animation and appeal to the audience. Maybe the best Clock Day flash I've seen yet. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your well thought out + lengthy review.
I'm glad you liked the effect on the shorts, I actually think it turned out pretty neat myself:)
Yeah Culture Beat are really great. You really should look them up.

More flash is coming that's for sure:D

One crazy collaboration.

I thought the animation for all the pieces were good, I liked how each author put their own style into the segments. I thought many of the endings were predictable, as it seemed like the first handful of cartoons always ended with someone blowing up, I'm not saying it wasn't funny, but all the segments seemed to run together as I really cant remember them after watching them no less than two minutes ago. My favorite part was definitely the Quizno's one, the Toasty! sound bite never seemed to disappoint.

The sound effects that were used seemed to be increasingly louder as the flash drew on, it was difficult to be attentive the whole time due to the blaring sounds that were distracting from the actual point (if there was one) to some of the flashes. I would also like to see some of the parts lengthened, as many of them had potential but it seemed like they just stopped with a cliche ending. The voice acting was so-so. But anyway, I would recommend making a sequel, I sense growth in you authors and am looking forward to viewing the finished product. Keep up the good work you guys!

OnionsXD responds:

I really agree with most of what you said and I must say you did a pretty good analysis of the cartoon. This isn't the best and I know that now and the humopr could've been a bit better. We are working on the sequel now and it is almost finished and its humor is way better...because it has punch lines! :P

Very cool.

I like the interactivity of this comic overall. It's neat how it is a movie but it still allows you to participate in it. The several pages at the beginning were kinda annoying since they were all links to previous chapters, but it was good since it gave me background information on the series. I must say, the animation on this was so simple, but some of the best I have seen in a long time.

The animation (and perfectly fitting music I might add) reminded me of the scene from It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown where Snoopy was the Red Baron, I know it's a stretch to think about but it oddly made me think of it. Overall, I thought it was a great idea for a comic, good plot too. I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter. Keep us updated and keep up the awesome work!

Credits, tokens?

The concept of the flash overall was really ridiculous, basically just a bunch of projects thrown together and called it a collab. Believe me, I've been there, and this was actually pretty amusing. I can't say I really enjoyed any of the skits, but the tomatoes one was well done and I thought that had the most fluid animation and was the only "real" submission of the bunch. The songs overall were pretty catchy, I got a few laughs out of them.

As I said, the tomato skit set the standards high for the other part of the collab, and nothing really came close in detail to the others. The voice acting was off the deep end, but that is easily solved with some good humor which you all definitely included in this flash. Adding more color and vividness to the scenes, plus some more thought behind some of the scenes will surely benefit you all next time around. You have the right idea and are on track, just expand on this idea and you'll be good to go. Keep up the good work, guys.

yayayayyayayayay!!!!
I'm guessing I'm the only one that likes the Cloudy McFart Fart skit >_> lulz
Thanks for the review portal buddeh!

Highly entertaining.

I always get a kick out of the false instructional videos, this one is surely one not to be forgotten. The only thing I didn't like was how there was not anything to glance at for background purposes and the constant white space made the flash seem less appealing. I loved the sense of humor, the whole "state the obvious" theme was perfect for this kind of flash. I think this style of comedy go well with users on this site, it has a sense that makes them feel smart and dumb at the same time.

The animation was very unique and I loved the part about flipping the binoculars. It's one of those moments where at first you're like wtf and then after a few seconds of elaborate thinking you just go "OHHHHH". Overall, great job on this flash. I'm looking forward to seeing your future flashes, as long as you keep up the sense of humor you portrayed in this flash, you should be living the high life. Keep up the great work, man.

Matija27 responds:

Thanks dude :)

That was great.

Such an interesting idea for a flash, I have to give you props for being so creative. I'm assuming that this was a tribute in response to Zorse's silly adventure games, which I adore. I thought the animation was fantastic, I was greatly impressed by the technique you used to draw Zorse and Sevenseize. I felt somewhat out of place since this was filled with several inside jokes, but I still thought the flash was entertaining nonetheless. A funny little toon with great animation.

The music fit the flash well. The sound effects seemed off in some places, especially at the beginning when what I'm assuming was a flash file was rolling in the grass. The sound effects were childish but they were used appropriately, and that's what counts. The voice acting was good too. I really liked how you put Zorse in all of the different settings, the pixelated shop scene was my favorite. Overall, I got a kick out of this tribute, this was highly amusing. Keep up the good work!

turtleco responds:

the inside jokes didn't really matter, since I'm sure even zorse did not get them.
In fact, I'm not sure that I get some of them... But I liked it.

yeah... I tried to do pure FBF for the most of it, the first 30 seconds of this thing took forever to make.

You are definitely right about the sound effects, they are childish, like me. :3
and the out of place in the beginning was do to the fact that I couldn't find a sound clip of wind blowing, so I made my own.

and the blob thing, I can't explain it. I guess I was watching Fluffcomix's No FBF and I was like "hur hur... look at me making an fbf of circles and lines" and then I started to think, "hm.. maybe I should make it stretch itself out with it's arm I just drew in there." then it sort of just turned into this. I just thought it would be nice to turn it into a tribute to the greatest zorse of all.

Pretty good.

The animation was very good, you did an excellent job of portraying the atmosphere and creating a mood by emphasising how dark the room was that Santa leapt into. The frame by frame stuff of Santa crawling into the chimney was good, but it was just pictures put to music when Santa spotted Saint Nicholas. Don't get me wrong, the music was good, but I wanted to see more action rather than seeing several pictures that forced me to imagine this battle of epic proportions in my head.

Some more sounds would have been a nice addition, especially since it was so startling once the music started booming out of nowhere. The concept of the flash is highly creative and very original, it just seems like the execution was poor. You had a great idea going, then it appeared to crumble right before my eyes. From what I saw, I was impressed by the animation, just finish strong because I'm looking forward to seeing your future submissions. Keep up the nice work!

Breaktroll responds:

Thanks, but I didn't have the time. I was already the only one who didn't give his present. And I also had some problems: When I have more than one sound in my flash, the second sound comes on the wrong moment, I planned on adding a "poof" when santa fell down, but the music was the main part, so I had to remove it. :/
I'm glad you still enjoyed it a little. :)

I'm not sure what I just watched.

While there was nothing in here to put me in the Christmas spirit, I was still entertained by the flash. The voice acting was funny, but the micrpophone quality was pretty bad, enough to make your ears bleed. Adding captionsor subtitles would help the viewer understnad the flash. Most of it was simple tweens, but I was actually impressed by some of the lip sync in your flash, a lot of it was very good.

The concept of this flash was hard to follow, but the elf driving the sleigh really made me question what I was viewing. The Santa part at the beginning was funny. Overall, it was an intersting take and representation of the Christmas season. I was entertained for the most part, it was an intriguing flash to say the least. Keep up the good work.

RainbowRiderAlpha responds:

Well there's a reason the quality is horrible and it's really not that good.

2 days before Christmas Ricky and I literally went "PFFFFFFF HEY LET'S MAKE A CHRISTMAS FLASH"

I threw him a pitch and Ricky just went with it. If you couldn't tell, I'm sure you could, we made this up in like 3 hours total.

I'm really surprised with the responses, though. AND the fact we made it into the Christmas collection; I have no idea how that happened.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I think I just blurb'd myself.
