Excellent!

Finally, you submitted your long-awaited piece to the portal! It was very good Chandler. I have never played the River City Ransom games, so I was very curious to find out what they are like. This answered my question, and the game looks awexome! I saw this in the portal, and I was just about to watch when my internet broke down, so I had wait an hour or two later. My favorite part was the level two scene, the music matched the tone perfectly. I'm working on voice acting, and I'd be glad to help in your next one. Or if you need an icon for your piece, I'll make one. I'll be sure to recommend this to the River City Ransom collection. Keep up the good work and I hope your score raises.

Thank you, and Yes to all of the above! I'll PM you or you can pm me and we can talk some more.

Hilarious!

I have heard about your Sprite A Day series, but I have never got to watching one. So I watched this one, and to tell the truth, it was stunning. It's great to see that a quality piece of work like this can be done in so few days. My favorite skit was probably the tongue one, when Moon from Zelda came down I was cracking up! Now, in the second skit, did you use music from Animal Crossing? I might be crazy, but it sounded remotely similar. I also like the opening loading screen, do you use that for every flash in the SAD series? I know you guys have been receiving a lot of crap from people. Just don't listen to them. You guys are not spammers, you create quality flashes, which is very rare. On that note, keep up the fantastic work!

PaperBat responds:

Thanks alot for the review.

Yea, we dont pay much attention to the haters, lol.

Nice!

I really like your animation style, I can recognize it in all of your flashes. I do have to give you props for the way you drew Patrice O'Neal, it looked EXACTLY like him. You chose the perfect segment of the show to animate, it turned out incredible. Did you win the contest? I would not have been suprised if you did. Anyway, I'll recommend this for the Opie & Anthony collection, but are there any other collections you would like to be submitted to? Keep up the great work and congrats on the daily feature!

I got 4th place

Excellent!

Truly one of the better collaborations I have seen on Newgrounds. On the BBS, I had heard all the hype for this submission, and to tell the truth, it was all true. This was bloody brilliant! My personal favorite part was Goat-Man's, I was waiting for someone to parodize the stereotype of pirate's and their rum. I really enjoyed the preloader game as well, it could have been its own submission. The replay was also creative with dragging your mouse over the note in the bottle. The music was also very good, it matched the tone perfectly. If there is another collection you'd like to be recommended for, just say it and I will submit. Keep up the great work everyone!

Bertn responds:

Thanks for this great review, I can't think of any collections right now but if I do, I let you know! :3

Good!

I got 16 correct, not bad, eh? Anyway I like the feature of how you put a tidbit of information after each correct answer, you know, since knowledge is power. That's a good fact about Tom's cat though, I got a laugh. Can you repeat me the whistle question, I'm not sure how I missed it. Moving along, don't listen to the haters who say this quiz sucks, it was well made, I really liked the cool preloader. I'll recommend this to the Newgrounds collection. Keep up the good work!

Hilarious!

I am new to your series, JKR, but I now want to watch all of your submissions! You are a very talented animator as well as a voice actor. Your monkey voice was very annoying, but it cracked me up the whole time. The DS bit was great, any joke with Final Fantasy in it is enough to make me laugh. I was just wondering, where do you get your inspiration? Your style and technique is quite perplexing. I wish you would have put the deleted scene in there, it was hysterical! Well, congratulations on your daily award and I hope that you keep submitting! See you in Toledo!

JKR responds:

Thanks! I'm really glad you liked it! To answer your questions as best I can, I get my inspiration for the content of the cartoons just naturally, I guess. My older cousin who actually does the music for the site was always funny when I was growing up, so I learned to also be funny since I wanted to be like him. (Except my music talents suck, but oh well!) I was originally inspired to bring Fred into the world of online cartoons because of Homestarrunner. I had no idea this thing called "Flash" existed, and I had always wanted to make cartoons. So I took the comic characters I had made in early middle school years before and gave them the animated treatment. The rest has been refining things for four years online now.

Also the reason I took out the deleted scene was simply because it broke the flow of the movie. The joke of Fred eating all the food in the house needed to be right after "Have fun in Ohio!" or it wasn't nearly as amusing. One thing I've learned how to keep making better is comedic timing, so I knew the scene had to go. But it was too good to let disappear, so I put it at the end. :)

Thanks for the great review and taking the time to write it all out! Happy to hear you're going to check out the other Fred toons. And don't forget there's a bunch more at FredtheMonkey.com that I didn't submit to Newgrounds (like the Mailbags which was another idea I got from Homestar, but has evolved into something more). Have a good day!

Hilarious!

Irony at its best! Great job, DonkeyBazooka! What I really liked about your flash was the animation. Your drawing technique and skills go unmatched, it was truly outstanding. I was not at all expecting the climax of your film, but it was truly hilarious! Thanks for giving a shout out to my Six Flags friend as well! Congrats on your daily feature and keep up the great work!

DonkeysBazooka responds:

thanks, this is a good review.

Incredible!

It is nice to see you out of your Nameless phase, Yotam. I do love the Nameless series, but this is even greater. Oh, I concur with the Neopets obsession, what a great time that was for the Internet. If I had flash, I would follow your footsteps and make a creation like your masterpiece. I feel this could spawn a series of screen name explanations, much like the My Newgrounds collection. I hope you do well with this submission, and continue on with the great work!

LazyMuffin responds:

I've been out of it since I released vol.2, sadly.
For some reason I can't work on it.

Thank you sir.

I think I just blurb'd myself.
