The epitome of Clock Day.

I can't find a single thing wrong with this flash which is difficult to say, especially on Clock Day. The animation style and techniques you used are superb, not comparable to anyone else I've seen on this site. I also love the effect you used where the man's shorts' color moves with the background, I'd seen that done on television before but never in flash, so I applaud you for that. The song was also rockin', fit extremely well in the flash. I'll probably be giving these Culture Beat guys a look after this.

There may have been a message in this flash, I'm not sure, if there was one it probably flew over my head. The thing that I liked most about this was how it was showing distinction between the man and Strawberry's world. Clock Day always seems like another world to me, so I was slightly able to relate to the flash. While it didn't have the humor associated with Clock Day, you definitely came through with great animation and appeal to the audience. Maybe the best Clock Day flash I've seen yet. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your well thought out + lengthy review.
I'm glad you liked the effect on the shorts, I actually think it turned out pretty neat myself:)
Yeah Culture Beat are really great. You really should look them up.

More flash is coming that's for sure:D

This flash IS Clock Day.

This flash is what all Clock Day flashes should strive to be. Great sound and music choices, the part with Tom was fantastic and the bees part was classic. The whole tweening bit was sorta overplayed but I loved the style of the animation, it was very well done. My favorite parts were when the Clocks were speaking German and of course when Tom came and saved Strawberry. I can overcome the confusion I watched mainly due to all the laughs I had throughout the film.

I'm never sure what to expect on Clock Day, but your flashes never seem to disappoint. The random antics and sound bites all make this flash truly one of a kind and really does represent the essence of Clock Day. Not much too complain about, but I foresee some other awards for this flash in the future. To date, this is my favorite Clock flash of the year. Keep up the fantastic work you two!

One crazy collaboration.

I thought the animation for all the pieces were good, I liked how each author put their own style into the segments. I thought many of the endings were predictable, as it seemed like the first handful of cartoons always ended with someone blowing up, I'm not saying it wasn't funny, but all the segments seemed to run together as I really cant remember them after watching them no less than two minutes ago. My favorite part was definitely the Quizno's one, the Toasty! sound bite never seemed to disappoint.

The sound effects that were used seemed to be increasingly louder as the flash drew on, it was difficult to be attentive the whole time due to the blaring sounds that were distracting from the actual point (if there was one) to some of the flashes. I would also like to see some of the parts lengthened, as many of them had potential but it seemed like they just stopped with a cliche ending. The voice acting was so-so. But anyway, I would recommend making a sequel, I sense growth in you authors and am looking forward to viewing the finished product. Keep up the good work you guys!

OnionsXD responds:

I really agree with most of what you said and I must say you did a pretty good analysis of the cartoon. This isn't the best and I know that now and the humopr could've been a bit better. We are working on the sequel now and it is almost finished and its humor is way better...because it has punch lines! :P

Not too shabby.

I guess since it was the first episode there's not a lot to understand. I never really understood why Drake wanted to become a knight or that his name was even Drake without reading the author's comments. The animation was pretty good and I liked the voices. I would recommend studying the lip sync though, the way the characters' mouths moved got pretty annoying. I like the idea for the series, but be sure to give more background information in the episodes.

The music was good, I thought I recognized one of those songs and when I saw it was from Neopets in the credits I immediately knew where I heard it, plus the song in the credits sounded really good. Overall, looks like a promising series, I can seriously sense there will be improvement in each of the episodes. Simply adding clarity and more of a storyline will do wonders for a series. Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching the future chapters of this series and keep up the good work!

Very cool.

I like the interactivity of this comic overall. It's neat how it is a movie but it still allows you to participate in it. The several pages at the beginning were kinda annoying since they were all links to previous chapters, but it was good since it gave me background information on the series. I must say, the animation on this was so simple, but some of the best I have seen in a long time.

The animation (and perfectly fitting music I might add) reminded me of the scene from It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown where Snoopy was the Red Baron, I know it's a stretch to think about but it oddly made me think of it. Overall, I thought it was a great idea for a comic, good plot too. I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter. Keep us updated and keep up the awesome work!

That was some crazy stuff.

I didn't really understand the plot, but it was just crazy enough for me to enjoy it. Thanks for letting me be a part of it as well, it was a fun project to participate in. The animation style was awesome, I loved how the characters looked like doodles drawn on paper, plus the other voice actors did a great job, Rig's part was probably my favorite along with the John Wilkes Booth show. The storyline was hard to follow, but you definitely made up for it with humor.

Another funny thing is the guy who you put my voice to remotely looked like me, upon seeing him I thought that would be my character, and surprisingly enough, it was. Overall, it was a funny flash tied together with a misconstrued plot and good characters. Not too much to complain about here. Thanks again for letting me work on this with you and keep up the good work, Boss!

As always, hilarious.

While this flash lacked the kind of humor your others had, I still found this to be extremely entertaining. The animation wasn't too bad and the plot was so stupid I couldn't help but to laugh. My favorite part was the Aqua Teen scene, my friend and I keep quoting the "I gotta razz you a little bit" line, it's ridiculous phrases like that scattered throughout your flashes that keeps me interested in your work, you fully come through in that department.

While the storyline was funny, this one was a little more difficult to follow. The sequence of the cat king being worried to the hairstyling scene did not transition well. Aside from that, I thought you had another great flash that will still be funny when we watch it in the future. The "All's well that friends well" line was a perfect ending to a great toon. I'm always a fan, Marc. Keep up the fantastic work.

Credits, tokens?

The concept of the flash overall was really ridiculous, basically just a bunch of projects thrown together and called it a collab. Believe me, I've been there, and this was actually pretty amusing. I can't say I really enjoyed any of the skits, but the tomatoes one was well done and I thought that had the most fluid animation and was the only "real" submission of the bunch. The songs overall were pretty catchy, I got a few laughs out of them.

As I said, the tomato skit set the standards high for the other part of the collab, and nothing really came close in detail to the others. The voice acting was off the deep end, but that is easily solved with some good humor which you all definitely included in this flash. Adding more color and vividness to the scenes, plus some more thought behind some of the scenes will surely benefit you all next time around. You have the right idea and are on track, just expand on this idea and you'll be good to go. Keep up the good work, guys.

yayayayyayayayay!!!!
I'm guessing I'm the only one that likes the Cloudy McFart Fart skit >_> lulz
Thanks for the review portal buddeh!

Highly entertaining.

I always get a kick out of the false instructional videos, this one is surely one not to be forgotten. The only thing I didn't like was how there was not anything to glance at for background purposes and the constant white space made the flash seem less appealing. I loved the sense of humor, the whole "state the obvious" theme was perfect for this kind of flash. I think this style of comedy go well with users on this site, it has a sense that makes them feel smart and dumb at the same time.

The animation was very unique and I loved the part about flipping the binoculars. It's one of those moments where at first you're like wtf and then after a few seconds of elaborate thinking you just go "OHHHHH". Overall, great job on this flash. I'm looking forward to seeing your future flashes, as long as you keep up the sense of humor you portrayed in this flash, you should be living the high life. Keep up the great work, man.

Matija27 responds:

Thanks dude :)

Highly entertaining.

I'm not gonna bother taking points off for the animation because you complemented it with styles of humor that really brightened my day. I just want to get the bad stuff out of the way, so the only thing I took off for was the microphone and voice quality resolution, it was difficult to understand at times. My favorite scene overall was the football one, just seeing a bunch of kids running into a slaughterhouse to the Monday Night Football theme song deserves a high score alone. It was also funny to hear I Think We're Alone Now, I had just heard that song before I watched this, except it was the Tommy James and the Shondells version.

This is one of the flashes that I can tell is done in your own particular style. I remember your flashes are clever because they are usually about one event leading to another, but this is probably my favorite of yours. You should be proud that you have a distinct technique of creating stories that is recognizable and distinct, many authors would yearn for that ability. Anyway, thanks for making me laugh, this was one of the better flashes I've seen lately. Keep up the fantastic work.

I think I just blurb'd myself.
