Not comparable to the first.

After watching the original Waiting for the Bus, it is not difficult to realize it would be hard to top such an amusing cartoon. I wasn't expecting for this to be better than the first since it is a challenging topic to make a sequel about because the original ended so abruptly, but this was below what I expected. The thing I find entertaining about your animations is that everyone of them ends ironically, but the ending of this wasn't really a joke. It had a weak setup and lacked any hook to get the viewer's attention, the only thing bringing us to watch this is the title and the author.

I enjoyed the credits the most, and while they were funny, it was certainly not a compliment. The Morgan Freeman and Billy Idol parts were funny, but it is not something to be proud of that text made in half a second is more appealing than the animation. I do like the style of your characters and the voice acting and lip sync were well timed, but the overall concept and lack of attention were nothing to glance at.

This is one of the few of your animations that I was not impressed by. The thing about your previous shorts is that they are not lengthy but packed several jokes and a good story in such a short time, while this one was longer than most and involved little humor and extended credits to try to save what had failed to impress. You all are a talented team, your comics brighten my day every time I read them, I just think it would have made more sense to let the original stand, it was so perfect. Anyway, I hope you guys go back to the original style of your cartoons, the format was much better. Keep up the nice work.

So creative.

The thing I enjoy most about these flashes is the combination between regular Google images and the hand drawn animation that looks hilarious. The lollipop song was an excellent addition to the movie, it made the flash ten times funnier since it contradicted the mood of the flash extremely well. The lip sync was good, and the sound quality was excellent. Another hilarious episode of the series.

The animutation was great, you do a great job of turning boring images into your own creations that have actions and commit crimes, it is something hard to imagine. I think is a great series, but I was unaware that you passed away last year. I saw the information on the Albinoblacksheep forums, and it is difficult to cope that an Newegrounds contributer has passed away. Rest in peace, Tim. Your work will be remembered by all who witnessed your sense of humor and true artistic talent.

Pretty clever.

I remember watching this series on Albinoblacksheep when it debuted back then. I never thought it was funny when watching it originally, but surprisingly, I thought this was very funny. I would have liked to see more animation since the only drawn part was the turtle, but hopefully in-depth animation is something I can see in the future episodes. The voices were also spectacular, they gave each character a personality so the viewer could learn a little bit about the characters.

The man with the screwdriver in his brain looks very familiar, what is he from? The plot of the a man with a screwdriver in his brain reminds me of the plot of one Simpsons episode where Homer had a crayon in his brain, but I digress. This series looks promising, I'm looking forward to watching the next few episodes, which I hope let me witness your artistic ability and get a general idea of what you base your humor on. Keep up the great work!

That was great.

Such an interesting idea for a flash, I have to give you props for being so creative. I'm assuming that this was a tribute in response to Zorse's silly adventure games, which I adore. I thought the animation was fantastic, I was greatly impressed by the technique you used to draw Zorse and Sevenseize. I felt somewhat out of place since this was filled with several inside jokes, but I still thought the flash was entertaining nonetheless. A funny little toon with great animation.

The music fit the flash well. The sound effects seemed off in some places, especially at the beginning when what I'm assuming was a flash file was rolling in the grass. The sound effects were childish but they were used appropriately, and that's what counts. The voice acting was good too. I really liked how you put Zorse in all of the different settings, the pixelated shop scene was my favorite. Overall, I got a kick out of this tribute, this was highly amusing. Keep up the good work!

turtleco responds:

the inside jokes didn't really matter, since I'm sure even zorse did not get them.
In fact, I'm not sure that I get some of them... But I liked it.

yeah... I tried to do pure FBF for the most of it, the first 30 seconds of this thing took forever to make.

You are definitely right about the sound effects, they are childish, like me. :3
and the out of place in the beginning was do to the fact that I couldn't find a sound clip of wind blowing, so I made my own.

and the blob thing, I can't explain it. I guess I was watching Fluffcomix's No FBF and I was like "hur hur... look at me making an fbf of circles and lines" and then I started to think, "hm.. maybe I should make it stretch itself out with it's arm I just drew in there." then it sort of just turned into this. I just thought it would be nice to turn it into a tribute to the greatest zorse of all.

Some parts were better than others.

For a solid few hours of work, I was impressed by what I saw. The collab seemed unbalanced due to the effort shown in some pieces against the single framed animations that were displayed. The music overall was very good. Space's piece was my favorite, I thought his animation was great and the music fit perfectly and disgustingly well. Your piece was good too, I was actually watching it for some time until I realized that the flash was repeating itself. I like the style Vince put in his piece, it was interesting despite its simplicity.

I managed to find all of the easter eggs, the Mario one was utterly confusing but I got a laugh out of it. One thing that was odd was once I watched all of the pieces, a song was playing at the same time that All You Need is Love was, it got pretty annoying, I don't know if someone looped the sounds, but that's just a minor bug, nothing to really worry about. Overall, it was a good collab for the short time you all worked on it. Keep up the good work everyone and happy new year!

Pretty good.

The animation was very good, you did an excellent job of portraying the atmosphere and creating a mood by emphasising how dark the room was that Santa leapt into. The frame by frame stuff of Santa crawling into the chimney was good, but it was just pictures put to music when Santa spotted Saint Nicholas. Don't get me wrong, the music was good, but I wanted to see more action rather than seeing several pictures that forced me to imagine this battle of epic proportions in my head.

Some more sounds would have been a nice addition, especially since it was so startling once the music started booming out of nowhere. The concept of the flash is highly creative and very original, it just seems like the execution was poor. You had a great idea going, then it appeared to crumble right before my eyes. From what I saw, I was impressed by the animation, just finish strong because I'm looking forward to seeing your future submissions. Keep up the nice work!

Breaktroll responds:

Thanks, but I didn't have the time. I was already the only one who didn't give his present. And I also had some problems: When I have more than one sound in my flash, the second sound comes on the wrong moment, I planned on adding a "poof" when santa fell down, but the music was the main part, so I had to remove it. :/
I'm glad you still enjoyed it a little. :)

I'm not sure what I just watched.

While there was nothing in here to put me in the Christmas spirit, I was still entertained by the flash. The voice acting was funny, but the micrpophone quality was pretty bad, enough to make your ears bleed. Adding captionsor subtitles would help the viewer understnad the flash. Most of it was simple tweens, but I was actually impressed by some of the lip sync in your flash, a lot of it was very good.

The concept of this flash was hard to follow, but the elf driving the sleigh really made me question what I was viewing. The Santa part at the beginning was funny. Overall, it was an intersting take and representation of the Christmas season. I was entertained for the most part, it was an intriguing flash to say the least. Keep up the good work.

RainbowRiderAlpha responds:

Well there's a reason the quality is horrible and it's really not that good.

2 days before Christmas Ricky and I literally went "PFFFFFFF HEY LET'S MAKE A CHRISTMAS FLASH"

I threw him a pitch and Ricky just went with it. If you couldn't tell, I'm sure you could, we made this up in like 3 hours total.

I'm really surprised with the responses, though. AND the fact we made it into the Christmas collection; I have no idea how that happened.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

An awesome music video.

While there were some tweens in your flash, most of it was frame-by-frame which I was greatly impressed by. The scene with the candy canes growing and changing colors was psychadelic. I laughed at the ending, I won't count off for your tablet dying, if anything it adds to the overall humor of the flash. The music was nice, but I was expecting something more Christmas sounding since it includes Santa.

Next year I only hope I can see a sequel to this where Santa will demonstrate for us the use of his godly powers. The synchronization of Santa and the beat of the song was perfect, plus the way you animated Santa was creative, it was neat how you put it in your own style. Anyway, I predict this will do well in the Winter Flash-Off, hopefully you'll win some prize money for your hard work. Keep it up, I'm very impressed!

Slick-Productions responds:

Reviews like this make it worthwhile to respond to every single one of them =D
Thankyaso much! It's good to know that you enjoyed the animation style, since it was my first time I didn't heavily rely on symbols/tweens :D

I suppose a bit of a more christmasy feel woulda been appropriate, maybe next time a techno remix of a christmas song, just to be tacky LOLJK It's fine, I'll think of something for next year!
Again, thanks for the awesome review!

I think I just blurb'd myself.
