Pretty clever.

It's awesome that this flash was less than thirty seconds in length, yet it packs so many laughs. The punchline was funny, and I enjoyed Strawberry Clock's reaction to the bad news. I thought the animation was good, I like how you drew the Clocks using your own style, I found that to be creative. The music at the end also emphasised Strawberry Clock's sadness, I found that to be hilarious.

I didn't think that length was an issue, but it just seemed like there was not enough dialogue or elaboration. I'll admit, you had a funny one-liner going there, but if you extended the situation I'm sure the flash would have been even funnier, maybe even a comedy gold mine. Still, I found this to be very funny. Keep up the great work and have an awesome Clock Day!

HolyKonni responds:

It was my fiend Lucas (who didn't know anything about CC) that came up with the "plot". We wanted to make him overreact, so we added a very sad song. :)

It's short becouse I made it ON clock day, in 2 hours or something like that. But I agree with you on that short flashes aren't bad just becouse their short.

Thanks for the kind words!

Epic on so many levels.

This is by far my favorite Clock Day submission this year. The thing that I enjoyed most is how you gave each of the Clocks such defining personalities. The ending was hilarious, I was cracking up at Orange Clock's reaction. My favorite part was when Pear Clock wore the Sherlock Holmes outfit and starting talking like a detective, for some odd reason that had me laughing.

The script for this flash is so brilliant. I was stunned at how the plot progressed at kept the viewer entertained the whole time. My face was glued to the screen from beginning to end. Great job at the animation and voices too, they meshed together perfectly. I hope to see more work as funny as this from you in the future. Keep up the excellent work and have a great Clock Day!

KartuneHustla responds:

Hahah thanks man... yeah the Sherlock Holmes thing was a must!!!

Highly amusing.

I liked how you made the overall design look, the tinfoil in the clouds and trees made the flash have a somewhat sci-fi look. The music gave it that futuristic feeling as well. The movement was kinda slow and some of it seemed like it was simply motion tweening, but I followed the story and it visually turns into something like a storybook, but that's probably just my reaction to it.

My favorite part was when the rocketship lifted off and the fire came out at the end, the flames looked extremely cool. I'll definately have to see the other episodes of this series if they were as neat as this one was. I liked the characters and how the movement of the frame was synced with the music too. Anyway, keep up the great work!

Fate responds:

Hey, thanks. Be sure to tell me what you thought of the further chapters.

Very funny.

The concept for this flash was very clever. I liked how the characters personalities switched at the end of the flash. The ending was unpredictable it was a nice suprise. The animation was simple, I like the way you animate you characters. The black and white color gave it a gloomy feeling, it worked well with the flash.

The only thing that kept you from getting a perfect score was the microphone's resolution. The sounds seemed like they kept echoing, and the gun shot startled me too since it was louder than the other sounds. Besides that, I thought this was an amusing short flash. Keep up the great work!

rjgraham responds:

Thank you for your feedback, sumidiotdude! Always appreciated. I did add the reverb to the vocals to convey the impression of a wide open space, and the gun sound was intended to play louder than the previous sounds. Is it too loud, do you think?

I was cracking up.

This flash had so many funny parts. I loved the part at the beginning when the pig say "I love you". The huge explosion at the end had me rolling on the floor, it just had perfect timing. The girlish scream gave me a laugh too. I'm definately going to have to watch this again, it was hilarious. The author comments totally give you a false interpretation of the flash, which is half the fun.

The animation for this was decent, but it looked choppy in several places, especially when the pig was sliding down the hill. Most of it was motion tweening too. A few tweens are okay, but you don't want to get used to using those. The voice quality could use some work too. Still, this piece was hysterical on so many levels, keep up the great work!

Roboface3001 responds:

Cheers it was probably a bit rushed, I tend to prefer frame by frame :D

It had its moments.

I am always highly impressed by your skill at animation. This was a pretty short flash, but it packed a few good laughs despite its length. The mouse was from those American Tail movies, right? That was the only thing I could figure since the robot said the mouse was an illegal immigrant. I thought the voices for both characters were creative, and the ending was truly unpredictable.

One thing I didn't like was I found it hard to clearly understand what the robot and mouse were saying. I also thought the concept of the flash was kinda misconstrued. I understand the mouse was going to Massachusetts, but if that was the whole storyline, I just feel like it could use some work. Besides that, this was a funny flash. Keep up the good work!

Wonchop responds:

Yeah, I'm not particularly great at gruff voices since they tend to splode my mic, and the storyline was more or less a pun on the word 500,000.

Very clever animation.

This is a very impressive animation for something that was made in a single day. This had such a crazy plot to follow, the Lagreen character made me laugh, mainly because their voice was so funny. The animation was nice and I did not expect the ending at all. The little scene with the bunny ears gave me a good laugh too. Great job on this one, I really enjoyed it.

Just wondering, what was your inspiration for this flash? It had such an obscure storyline, I was just curious on how you came up with this. I hope to see more of these characters in your future films. I was entertained by this flash from beginning to end. I now have high expectation for your flashes, so keep up the good work!

munchmed responds:

thanks for the compliments. Well yesterday i found an old comedy script i wrote, which was pretty terrible. So i picked out some good/crazy bits and wrote this new short script.
the animation was just me being lazy. But i do like how the greens guys mouth gets higher and bigger the crazier he gets.
I dunno if they'll make appearances in other films as the other films are completely different styles.

Very funny episode.

I'm beginning to enjoy all of your SRM cartoons, they are all hilarious. I like the concept of this one, the ending was somewhat predictable, but I enjoyed seeing SRM having so many different hairstyles. I like the reason you made this flash too, the story behind it sounds very funny. The voices were nice too, the hairstylist's accent made me laugh everytime he spoke.

I like the animation in this one, the way you draw your characters is cool. The turtlesnake bit was pretty funny too, I enjoy hearing one of those Fallout references every once in a while. I would consider leaving SRM with that afro he had, he needs a little more style to his character. Just kidding, these flashes are great just the way they are. Keep up the great work!

Battosai810 responds:

Always love to read one of your great reviews!

I'm happy you enjoyed the voice acting, especially Niko as the hairstylist. I've gotten some criticisms and some praise for that voice in the past, and it's always good to hear another kind word.

Glad you liked the updated art style as well, and caught the little Fallout reference. I might give SRM an afro or mohawk at some point in the future, just for the fun of it.

Thanks for watching, and glad you enjoyed it!

I think I just blurb'd myself.
