Much better.

It's great to see the improvement in this flash, it shows that you have enhanced your flash abilities in a short amount of time. I like how the interactive examples were much more clear, like how the fingers moved in sync with the song, it is that kind of help that will affect all users and teach them in a much more efficient way. I definately learned more from this flash than I did from the other two, bravo my good man.

It's funny, I learned how to play Hot Cross Buns on my recorder in elementary school, I just remembered that when the song started playing. The multiple audio files also directed the viewer to learn more. It still looks bland overall, but it surely is an improvement from the others. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to seeing the future episodes of this series.

thank you

About the same as the previous one.

I wish that based on the response from the users on the first flash of this series you would have worked to improve this one. I witnessed about the same tutorial that gave examples that had some difficulty in clarity, and the song was unfamiliar to me. I would recommend putting the song on the same frame as when you tell the numerical way to play the song, it would help the viewer follow along and it would be easier to teach.

The shoddy appearance of the flash should be enhanced. Google images do not fully make a flash, I would recommend changing up the background and showing maybe a video of how to play the song instead of simply diagrams. It wasn't a bad tutorial, I would just change the look of it and practice and play around with the logistics of flash. Keep up the good work!

Pretty helpful.

I learned how to play this song very early on too. I understand you linked to the online keyboard on this site, but it would be really helpful if you included a keyboard on this flash tutorial as well. The fingers being numbered trick looked very effective, you would make a good music teacher in that department. The overall flash looked bland as there was a drawing and a blank background, it could use some more diagrams or examples to keep the viewer interested.

I was never a big keyboard fan, but I know how to play a few songs. I was always more of a saxophone player, but even a novice pianist like me learned information from the tutorial, so I think you have achieved your goal. Keep working at telling people vividly how to play and I'm sure your flashes will gain popularity. Keep up the good work!

Ok thank you

Puts me in the Thanksgiving spirit.

I actually speak fluent turkey, and you accented the turkey's voice in the incorrect area on "I may die soon." Don't worry, I made that mistake all the time when I was learning to speak turkey in middle school. I love how seemingly pointless this soundboard is, but the fact that it is so random is the main principle that makes it so funny. Plus I am enamored by that turkey in the middle of the soundboard, I can't help but gaze into its eyes.

I heard that Turkey in the Straw song playing and I couldn't help but laugh, plus there are sadly not a lot of songs that feature the word "turkey" in the title. It was amusing to see all of the turkey dialogue you collected for the soundboard, it must have been difficult to find. When the Thanksgiving 2009 collection arrives, I will surely recommend this for it. Keep up the good work!

ForNoReason responds:

lol thank you sir. Your words are kind and very uplifting.

Another fantastic adventure.

And another one of your games I'm not included in, *sniff*. Anyway, I thought your last game was nearly perfect, but it really shows in this one that you made improvements and made the game even more fun. The medals were also hilarious, I liked reading all of the biographies too. The game itself began to be repetitive since it was mainly back and forth task collecting, but everyone had something funny to say which I enjoyed.

The graphics were great, pixel art is difficult and I'm glad to see you can do it so well. The music was entertaining too. Aside from the redundancy of walking back and forth, which is hilarious how SevenSeize walks by the way, I'd say this was just short of the gamer's nirvana. All the humor and playability mixed together surely equalled success for you. Keep up the excellent work my bff, I wish you and SevenSeize the best of luck on all of your future endeavors!

Decent game.

I thought the storyline for the game was funny, you should have put more of that information into the game, like making it an adventure game or something. The animation was pretty good and I liked the music as well. The controls were good, but even when I right-clicked on play nothing happened, so I had to press forward to get the game rolling, maybe you should have a look at it.

The frog's different jumping abilities were a good challenge, but some of them couldn't really jump at all which was frustrating. It took me a while to figure out there was not an objective to the game, I wish I would have read that in the author's comments first. It was a noble idea for a game, but I thought it could have been executed better. Keep up the good work!

HolyKonni responds:

Why thank you!

Very good game.

Your creative adventure games never cease to entertain me, Will. By far, this has got to be my favorite of your games, and it puts me in the Halloween spirit. It was cool seeing all of the Newgrounds icons together in one place, plus all of the characters' inside jokes were funny to see. I'm glad you put Brian in there too, I love the Red Diamond Dragon club.

The medals made this game much more fun. I had trouble with the Money Maker medal, it took me a while to figure out how to get it. You're going to like this though, since it was called Money Maker, I figured it had something to do with clicking the API ads on the flash, so I clicked it numerous times. There should be a bit of money coming your way for that, haha.

You have really mastered the pixelation art form, it all looked great, I especially like how you made Dad look. The music was funny too, plus the ending gave me a good laugh as well. Adventure games are my favorite genre to play, and this really made my Halloween special. Keep up the excellent work Will, I'm looking forward to playing more of your games in the future.

14hourlunchbreak responds:

Hahaha, that's great. Maybe other people will make the same mistake. :D
I'm glad that you've enjoyed it, I didn't think it would do as well as my first game, but it's turned out great so far.
Thanks for the review!

Good concept, improvement in development.

You truly have a talent of making me laugh at everyone of you games, Zorse. It's funny how you always include your friends in the games too *cough cough*. The animation looked really neat and the music was cool too. The plotline for the game is really creative and made me want to continue playing, but I thought the timing of when to hit the zombies was very difficult.

I didn't like when the zombies hit you since you bounced back and forth between them, ultimately making you lose multiple lives. Plus the zombies come at you so quickly it's hard to determine was level of animator they are, but I didn't think it was that big of a problem. It was an amusing game with easy to learn controls, so I liked it. Keep up the great work, bff!

Magical-Zorse responds:

One day I'll put you in a game
also, I love you

Not too bad.

I am impressed that this is your first game, for a beginner you show much skill. The glitch in level fourteen made the whole game turn white, so that made me frustrated by having to start over from the beginning. The controls were decent and the levels were creative. The music was a nice addition to the game as well. It was pretty fun, but the entertainment is limited due to the glitches.

The artwork could use some touching up, but I definately sense some room for improvement when you release your next game. I thought the levels were creative, but the get the ball in the hole series of games are abundant on this site; let your imagination flow and create something new! I can tell you have a lot of creativity, so now it's time for you to use it to your advantage. Keep up the good work bro.

Joshsouza responds:

thanks this is the first actual GOOD review

I liked it.

This was impressive for your first game. I immediately noticed the resemblance to Frogger when I started playing, but I like how you changed the theme to a lumberjack. The animation was good, I like the way you animated the lumberjack and the way you created the water. Plus that simple song that played in the beginning will be stuck in my head all day.

I like how you have to take the food and drinks the lumberjack collects back to land after collecting them, that was another way you put your own creative spin on this game. The controls were easy to learn too, good job on that. Congratulations again for having your first game be so addicting and such a success. Just some more originality and less redundancy could make you even better. Keep up the good work!

Mallemarkie responds:

Awesome comment.
Thank you.

I think I just blurb'd myself.
