Very funny.

It's great that even the Locks can show their respect to Clock Day. I like your animation style, and th eopening scene with all the Clocks excited made me really happy. Then the explosion came and I couldn't help but laugh. The music you included was also pleasing to the ears. The punchline at the end is slightly overused, but it still is worth a laugh.

This is very impressive for something you created within twenty-four hours. I thought Strawberry Clock looked really neat and unique in the credits, it was an interesting take on Clock Day, that's for sure. I hope to see work as good as this from you in the future. Keep up the excellent work, and next time, don't tell the Clocks about your demolition plans, haha.

This is what Newgrounds was built on.

Never before have we given minimal effort such praise and respect. Because of this submission we have received many great authors and animations. It's amazing that this went from turd of the week to one of the most famous flashes on this very site. Strawberry Clock deserves all the power he has, he has created a Newgrounds icon. Without B, Newgrounds would not be the same.

Inspiring authors to submit their own work is just one of the things B has done for this site. StrawberryClock is a Newgrounds legend who's work cannot be replaced. Many imitators and tributes have been created, but none can ever take the place of B. It's amazing how history has held up and B is just as important as it was when it was first submitted. Thank you Strawberry Clock, keep up the excellent work, and have an awesome Clock Day.

Very impressive.

I find the way you animated the boy very intriguing. You drew the boy's motions perfectly, I loved the way you made him stomp on the ground and yell. The blams in the background really emphasized the boy's pain too, I thought it was a nice addition to the flash. The sepia tone you animated in also made the flash look unique, I like your style. Kudos, I really thought this was neat.

The only thing that I felt was missing was a bit of background information. I understand that the boy was intended to be "A", StrawberryClock's blammed flash, but maybe you could include that info in the flash. I also thought the song made the flash even cooler. Once again, I really thought this was entertaining. Keep up the great work and have an awesome Clock Day!

Hey thanks for your indepth review, This is exactly what every artists is looking for.. a clear cut view of what the viewer thinks of ones work.
Well .. for startwers Clock Day has been celebrated over the las t 8 years on newgrounds. And if you follow the collections and the clockcrew.cc site, you will see how deep this subculture actually runs. With a mass of the newgrounds users contirbuting to clock day. this is indeed a big event :)

Thanks for dropping by once again! cheers

It had its moments.

I really think you have true talent in animation, I love the way you drew the Clocks while using your own style. The song fit the flash very weel and the subtitles helped too. I thought the storyline was creative, but the ending left me sort of confused. I just don't think there was enough elaboration in the beginning for us to get a logical understanding of what we were preparing to see.

Another thing I didn't like was how there were many running sequences. It seemed like in between scenes you mainly put Strawberry Clock running to get somewhere, and it just seemed repetitive. Aside from that, I thought you mixed great animation with a catchy song. I am impressed by animating skill, happy Clock Day and keep up the great work!

You captured the essence of Clock Day perfectly.

This is a Clock Day tribute that will really stand out mainly because it expresses the main message Clocks spread, you cannot kill them. The artwork was truly extraordinary, your style is so unique and creative. The storyline was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the ending, I didn't see it coming at all. Plus I enjoyed the Tom Waits song you used, it matched the mood of the flash perfectly.

I love how you took a good versus evil concept and made it truly memorable. My favorite part was when the man was showing how he ate all the other citizens of the food cities. Your animations go unmatched and I enjoy seeing you express yourself every Clock Day. Keep up the excellent work, I hope to see more work from you like this in the future.

Pretty clever.

It's awesome that this flash was less than thirty seconds in length, yet it packs so many laughs. The punchline was funny, and I enjoyed Strawberry Clock's reaction to the bad news. I thought the animation was good, I like how you drew the Clocks using your own style, I found that to be creative. The music at the end also emphasised Strawberry Clock's sadness, I found that to be hilarious.

I didn't think that length was an issue, but it just seemed like there was not enough dialogue or elaboration. I'll admit, you had a funny one-liner going there, but if you extended the situation I'm sure the flash would have been even funnier, maybe even a comedy gold mine. Still, I found this to be very funny. Keep up the great work and have an awesome Clock Day!

HolyKonni responds:

It was my fiend Lucas (who didn't know anything about CC) that came up with the "plot". We wanted to make him overreact, so we added a very sad song. :)

It's short becouse I made it ON clock day, in 2 hours or something like that. But I agree with you on that short flashes aren't bad just becouse their short.

Thanks for the kind words!

Entertaining from beginning to end.

I loved the plot of your animation, it was a very creative twist you made to retell the tale of Clock Day. I thought the animating was nicely done, but seeing still pictures got boring after a while, even if they were pages in a storybook. I remember seeing StrangeClock do something similar to this, was he your inspiration for creating this? It was an amusing piece I'm glad I could watch.

I was impressed by your talent at voices, I like how you made it sound like Tom was on the phone during his part in the story. My favorite joke you said was the one about Foot Locker, I was cracking up, the cat and dog one also gave me a laugh. Thanks for spreading the Clock Day message around the internet. Have a great Clock Day and keep up the nice work!

Epic on so many levels.

This is by far my favorite Clock Day submission this year. The thing that I enjoyed most is how you gave each of the Clocks such defining personalities. The ending was hilarious, I was cracking up at Orange Clock's reaction. My favorite part was when Pear Clock wore the Sherlock Holmes outfit and starting talking like a detective, for some odd reason that had me laughing.

The script for this flash is so brilliant. I was stunned at how the plot progressed at kept the viewer entertained the whole time. My face was glued to the screen from beginning to end. Great job at the animation and voices too, they meshed together perfectly. I hope to see more work as funny as this from you in the future. Keep up the excellent work and have a great Clock Day!

KartuneHustla responds:

Hahah thanks man... yeah the Sherlock Holmes thing was a must!!!

Not enough elaboration.

I thought this was a cool flash, I really liked the beginning with all the flashing lights that were timed together with the music. The animating was impressive, the silhoutted images of the Clocks gave the flash are dark and mysterious kind of look. The song was suited well for the mood of the animation. The flash had it's highs and lows, I think it could have had more of a storyline though.

If I hadn't read the author comments I would have been completely lost. It also got boring seeing a tween of three Clocks floating, that part was dragged out longer than it should have been. It seemed like this was going to be an epic flash at the beginning, but that thought was proven false by the end of the flash. Anyway, have a good Clock Day and keep up the nice work!

Highly amusing.

I really thought the concept of this flash was creative, but you definately could not imagine what would happen if B went out of existence. I am impressed by your animation skills too, the scene when the Locks were on the airplane was very well made. You chose the perfect music for the flash too, it fit the mood extremely well. Definately one of my favorite Clock Day submissions this year.

The only thing I didn't like was how there was just movement in the end, I would have preferred more talking. I understand you were emphasising the sadness, but just showing Clocks crying made me somewhat lose interest. Aside from that, I thought this flash was entertaining and just short of perfect. have a great Clock Day and keep up the great work!

I think I just blurb'd myself.
