I like it.

The modern look of this piece really shows through, it reminds me of those illusion where you have to count the squares. The colors are very vibrant, but the repetition is pretty bland in itself. It definately matches the theme of the contest you entered though. Overall, it looks neat and very catchy to the eye. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to seeing your future art pieces!

Looking back on it, it reminds me of the VR levels from TimeSplitters 3. I wanted this to be very abstract, so I went for these bright colours and hard edges. The different reds give it a sort of menacing look, which I think suits the title of this piece.

Thank you very much!

Nicely done.

Pikachu's facial expression reminds me of a Chinese man for some reason. I like the color scheme and the tone you put on Pikachu's body, plus I got a laugh over him eating that bone. I thought the background could use some more depth or a solid color, but it still meshes together nicely with the drawing. Overall, I like the creative spin you put on a classic character. Keep up the great work!

Homocidicle responds:

Well thanks Hank.

Realy cool.

I like how much tone and texture you showed on the people and monster's bodies, it made them look very realistic. It looks like one of those 1950s science-fiction movies, plus this picture really puts me in the Halloween spirit. I like the baby, it looks like it's getting a wedgie, plus it's facial expression is really entertaining. Keep up the excellent work!

Nekow responds:

Right you are! I wanted to go for '50s movie poster style. Thanks for the highscore

My favorite piece of yours.

You nailed the general aspects of a zombie, great job on that part. The white background is somewhat distracting, feel free to add a background to the picture, it would be beneficial to making the zombie look even more creepy. I like what you did to his eye too, it looks extremely gruesome, and it puts me in the Halloween spirit. Keep up the great work!

Decent in my opinion.

I was never a big H.P. Lovecraft fan, but you mastered the character design element extremely well. The blue lines on the right side seem unnecessary, and the scribbles on the random white spaces seem out of place. A different drawing system besides paint should help you improve, there are many free ones out there, so get hunting! Keep up the good work!

Creative for sure.

This looks really modern, like something a person would stick on their wall in an apartment. I definately see the M.C. Escher influence you are talking about, too. For something made on the paint system it is highly impressive. It is a little blurry though and lacks concept, but it is neat looking and creative. Keep up the good work, I like your style.

therealanimator responds:

wow thanks man really appreciate your feedback i might do some more of this. yeah i know it was kinda blurry but i had to save it as a jpeg.

Looks cool.

I really like the color scheme that you used on this monster, the pink and green makes him look neon-ish. It's hilarious that despite his gruesome appearance, he still knows proper dinner etiquette and holds his knife in his right hand and fancily has his pinky out. Nothing to complain about in this picture, it's really well done and creative. Keep up the awesome work!

Homocidicle responds:

Well thanks man, I was aiming for a neon look. Oh yeah and thanks for pointing that table manners thing, I hadn't even noticed that.

Really nice.

Never before have I been disturbed by a gnome, and then I saw this picture. You really mastered the horror element of this picture by the gnome's eyes and teeth. The eyes are so dark and large that whenever I stare into them I become startled. Are those guts by the gnome's foot? Anyway, I recommend you for the art portal, work like this should not go unnoticed. Keep up the great work!

Erty responds:

Thanks a lot for your comment. Yes, that is some intestines on his leg. I don't know what I were thinking when designing this, I just let my hand flow over it.

I like your style.

The red and black color scheme is exceptionally vibrant in this picture. I also like the tone from each stroke, it makes all the images look three-dimensional. There is too much black in the middle, it seems like the picture is just empty from that point. Still, I thought this was a unique piece that allowed you to unleash your imagination. Keep up the great work!
